You can configure your Backupxpress, so that certain file endings are either included or excluded in your backup.
On the tab "General" you can select the files using filters.

Create new filter
Click on the button 'Filter' to open a new dialog, with which you can easily include or exclude files.

Here you can decide what file endings are supposed to be included in your backup.
In order to save a predefined group, just right click on an empty button and choose 'Edit'

Make sure you name your filter group in a way, so you can identify what kind of backups are included. You could for example name the group like the file ending. For example '.doc Files'. See pic above.
Show files

If you click on 'Show files' in the main window, you get a list of files that are included in your backup.
|
If you right click on a file, you can either 'Open' it, 'Show' it in an exterior editor, 'Exclude' it from the backup or exclude all files with that certain file extension. As an example: If you right click on a .jpg file and choose 'Exclude file extension', then all files that are shown in the preview with .jpg will be excluded from the backup. You can choose between a hierarchical or a flat view of the files. |
