Internet settings

Configure your settings for connection to the Internet and use the FTP or Email function here. After the backup the connection will automatically be disconnected again.

 

Internet - Email

Decide here how you want the emails to be sent. Either SMTP (direct connection to the internet) or through MAPI (Mail-Server). Also enter your email provider, username and password in order to be able to send the emails.

 

Test your settings, in order to check the functionality.

Internet - Ftp

If you want to upload your backup onto a FTP-Server you need to know your username and password and FTP address.

FTP Time Out

Choose how long the application will try to set up a connection before it will pop up an error message.

FTP Retries

The amount of tries the application will do in case of an error.

Repetition delay

The application will wait this long before it starts to try again. Some FTP Servers lock a file for approx. 15 minutes if it transferred with an error. Therefore set the timespan long enough.

Proxy

If you want to connect to the FTP Server with a Proxy, please enter the address and port number here.

Firewall

If you want to connect through a firewall to a FTP-Server, please enter the parameters here.
